The Peachtree Accounting and Material Requirements Planning (MRP) packages

Peachtree offers several different manufacturing solutions including the newest Quantum Manufacturing Edition of Peachtree 2010.
Quantum Manufacturing Edition with MISys Small Business Manufacturing is a solid, small business manufacturing system extending the Bill of Material and Assembly structure of the Peachtree application. The manufacturer that requires planning for purchases for multiple products, more than 10 or 20, and has multi – level BOM’s will find the new QME version work the price point. For the smaller manufacturer that produces a few products, up to 20 or so, with mostly single level BOM’s and needs Purchase Plan tracking with Work Orders can utilize a new MRP report from JCS Computer Resource.
The MRP Report is based on the existing Peachtree 2009 Manufacturing and Peachtree 2010 Quantum database and utilizes Crystal Reports 2008 to extract data from the Work Order and Purchase Order stream. As users create Work Orders, the target dates for the work and specify the need to have date for the material. Inventory quantity on hand and quantity available along with these projected use dates indicate the time to expire or time to go negative on individual Items in the Inventory Master. The Purchase Orders with the target due date also come into play to adjust the quantity Available column. These items are available in Peachtree and can be computed in a spreadsheet, if the user so desires to extract this for their planning purposes. The JCS Computer Resource MRP report does this as well, for much less trouble.
